Through the Shelter Program we also offer Case Management assistance.  Through the Case Manager, you will find assistance to become self-sufficient, find permanent housing, limited employment assistance, how to apply for SSI and Food Stamp Benefits.  To summarize this program, we offer:

  • Assistance to become Self-Sufficient
  • Assistance to transfer to Permanent Housing
  • Limited Employment Assistance
  • Assistance in applying & receiving SSI Benefits
  • Assistance in applying & receiving Food Stamp Benefits

As part of this program to get the community involved, we have developed the ADOPT-A-ROOM Program.  This Program gives the community, one or two families/individuals or even companies, the chance to decorate a room at the shelter.  Our goal with this program is to make each room warm, friendly and inviting so that when someone has to stay here, they feel a sense of hope.  After all, isn't that what life is about?  Hope with dignity!
